Book Review: God Gave Us the World

God Gave Us the World
By
Lisa Tawn Bergren

My kids love the God Gave Us book series, so it was a “no-brainer” when I chose this book for review. In each of the God Gave Us books, Lisa Tawn Bergren approaches kids’ questions and curiosity with answers they can understand. In God Gave Us the World, Bergren helps kids understand why God chose to make people and places different from one another. The book focuses on the creativity of our wonderful Creator and how each creation is special to God, even children. Children also learn why it is important to take care of God’s creation.

The cover art for the God Gave Us books is so recognizable that my kids knew what it was as soon as I opened the package; they wanted to read it as soon as I opened it. They were very interested in the entire story and were excited to see the main character, Little Cub, again. It’s amazing how the kids are able to take the story and relate it to their lives. We own almost every book in this series and I was excited to receive this to add to our collection. These books make for great bedtime stories and are sure to start some wonderful conversations with your children.

This book can be found at Amazon and Barnes and Noble, as well as many other retailers.
