Book Review: Gabby, God’s Little Angel

Gabby, God’s Little Angel
By
Sheila Walsh

Gabby is a clumsy, fun-loving angel. She receives her guardian angel assignment to protect a little girl named Sophie who is much like her. This book follows Gabby and Sophie as they share a wild experience and helps demonstrate how God sends His angels to protect us. The book ends with Psalm 91:9, 11 which talk about God being our protector and sending his angels to be in charge of us and watch over us.

The illustrations in the book were really cute, not overly “cartoony” but still cute enough to be fun for kids. The book did a really good job of illustrating the way angels are sent to protect kids. I think this book is a great way to demonstrate God’s love and protection to children. This is the first book in a new series and I can’t wait to see what lessons the others will hold.
