Beyond Ordinary
By
Justin and Trisha Davis

Justin and Trisha Davis have an extraordinary story to tell about their marriage. From young love to adultery, their marriage has gone through it all.  When it had almost completely fallen apart, they realized that they had fallen into the trap of letting their marriage become ordinary.  After committing to have an extraordinary marriage, they witness a miraculous change and find themselves in a better spot than ever before.  Beyond Ordinary provides a place for the Davis’ to tell their story as well as provide tips and advice that will enable any couple to take their marriage from ordinary to extraordinary.

Beyond Ordinary was a very interesting book to read. Justin and Trisha share their journey with a rawness and intensity I was not expecting. They are both very open with what they were going through and what they were thinking; there is no sugar coating at all in this book. While it was interesting to read their story, I also enjoyed their take on ways to take marriage to a place beyond ordinary.  They not only offer advice and words of wisdom, but also provide though provoking questions that really get you thinking about your own marriage and how to make it extraordinary.

You can read the first chapter here.
